Fonepay Launches New Year Campaign named "Fonepay Garne Ho!"

Fonepay has announced its latest campaign “Fonepay garne ho" emphasizing how convenient it is to pay with Fonepay QR and how easy and instant it is to transfer money with Fonepay Direct (Inter Bank Fund Transfer).  

With a key message, “Let’s make 2024 the year of convenience by using Fonepay as your preffered modes of payment”, this campaign is an effort to persuade individuals to drop traditional payments methods and make way for a year  filled with instant, secure and convenient payment choices.The campaign will span for five days, starting from December 29, 2023 to January 2, 2024. Two lucky customers will win XIAOMI PAD 6 as a mega giveaway. Customers must use Fonepay Direct and Fonepay QR, or both services at least five times throughout the campaign period in order to be eligible for the campaign. 

Terms & Conditions 

1. The campaign shall commence from Poush 13 2080 to Poush 17 2080 (“Campaign Period”).

2. Customers must use Fonepay Direct and Fonepay QR, or both services, at least five times throughout the campaign period to be eligible for the campaign.

3. Two lucky customers will win a XIAOMI PAD 6 as a mega giveaway through lucky draw.

4. By participating in the Campaign, the eligible participant shall be taken as having agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

5. The directors or employees/staff of Fonepay can participate in the campaign but shall not be eligible to the giveaway.

6. Any transactions which are incomplete, unsuccessful, or performed before or after the Campaign Period shall not be eligible for the Campaign.

7. The prizes for this campaign will not be converted to cash and is non-transferable. 

8. The winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries at the end of the campaign period.

9. The winner will be announced and notified through publication in the Fonepay’s social media platforms and through their mobile banking number used for transaction.

10. If a selected winner is found to be unreachable or the winner could not be contacted within 3 days, Fonepay reserves the right to select an alternate winner for this campaign.

11. The winner must collect their Prize within 35 days of the date of the contact with them and failure to which the prize will be forfeited back to Fonepay. 

12. The winners must bring valid identification documents like citizenship, license, passport etc. The winner shall bear any tax implications that may arise from the Prize winnings. 

13. By accepting the prize, the participant consents to Fonepay publicizing their names in Fonepay’s official website and social media platforms for the promotion of future events should the participant emerge a winner.

14. The decisions of Fonepay regarding the selection of winners and any other aspect of the campaign are final and binding. 

15. By participating in the Campaign, each Customer is deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal information by Fonepay for verifying the eligibility of each Customer, verifying the identity of the each Customer at the time of utilization or awarding of the Prize, conducting the Campaign, announcing/publicity of each Customer (including having the each Customer’s photo taken/published), contacting each Customer regarding the foregoing, and all purposes and promotions incidental to the Campaign.

16. Fonepay reserves the rights at its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel, suspend, extend, or terminate this Campaign at any time in whole or part, or to vary, delete or add to any of the Terms and Conditions herein at any time with prior notice, by way of posting on the Fonepay’s website or in any other method deemed suitable by Fonepay. Notice of such variation of the Terms and Conditions or suspension or termination of the Campaign will take effect from the date set out in the notice.

17. Fonepay shall not be obliged to give any reasons whatsoever or enter any correspondence with any person(s) on any matter concerning the Campaign.

18. Fonepay shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, terrorism, epidemic, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, or any event beyond the reasonable control of Fonepay.

19. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
