Fonepay Direct

Fonepay Direct is a service offered by Fonepay that enables a mobile banking user to conveniently transfer funds from their own bank account to a chosen recipient's bank account, regardless of whether the two accounts are held at the same bank or different banks.

Step 1: Login to your mobile banking app.

Step 2: Navigate to the "send money" section & tap on “Fund transfer”.

Step 3: Choose the option of sending money either from the same bank or a different bank.

Step 4: Enter the necessary details.

Step 5: Check the details and tap on “confirm”.

There are three ways of sending money using Fonepay Direct.

1. You can send the money by entering the recipient’s mobile number.
2. You can send the money by entering the recipient’s bank account number.
3. You also have the choice to send the money by scanning the recipient's personal QR code associated with their account.

It does involve fees. For each transaction, a charge of Rs 10 is applicable, but only when the sender's bank differs from the recipient's bank. Notably, if both the sender's and recipient's bank accounts belong to the same bank, there is no fee associated with this service.
