QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead test planning, test strategy, and execution for fintech applications, ensuring full coverage across functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate in project analysis, requirement review, and risk assessment, providing QA input into design and delivery decisions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain all QA documentation, including test plans, scenarios, cases, closure reports, release notes, and automation scripts.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts, maintain automation frameworks, and support continuous integration pipelines.
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders for scalability and reliability improvements.
  • Mentor and support junior QA team members, conduct test case reviews, and promote best QA practices across projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of AI-assisted testing techniques, new tools, and innovative testing approaches.
  • Collaborate with PMO, Development, Tech Support, and Operations teams to manage day-to-day QA activities, defect resolution, escalation, and timely reporting in Jira.

Requirement: 

  • Education: Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • Prior Years of Experience required: 4-5 years.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office for test documentation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, and SDLC in fintech systems.
  • Test planning, test case management, and defect tracking using Jira.
  • Manual testing expertise with mid-level experience in test automation tools (Selenium or robot framework)
  • API testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or Insomnia; understanding RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Advanced SQL skills for database testing and validation of financial/transactional data
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing techniques for test optimization, test case generation, and defect analysis.
  • CI/CD pipeline awareness and integration of testing in automated builds (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
