Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop AML, fraud detection, and analytics models for real-time payment systems.
- Build predictive models for credit risk scoring, transaction forecasting, and customer segmentation.
- Analyze large-scale transactional data to identify patterns and optimize flows.
- Implement data pipelines efficiently using modern tools for real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering team to deploy AI/ML models into production environments.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with ISO 27001:2022, PCI/DSS and Nepal Rastra Bank.
- Create dashboards and visualization tools for compliance, risk, business analytics, and performance monitoring.
- Document methodologies, models, and processes for audit and regulatory purposes.
Requirement:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields
- Prior Years of Experience required: 4-5 years, preferably in fintech or banking.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python/R and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools (Spark, Kafka) and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding on ISO 27001:2022, PCI DSS, NRB compliance requirements, and secure data handling.
- Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Knowledge of fraud detection, AML algorithms, and anomaly detection techniques.
